However, that excitement couldn't get us pumped up enough to beat Louisville.
AK and I started out doubles very rough, but started coming back towards the end.
It wasn't soon enough though and we lost, 8-5.
Marlene and Claudia lost their, 8-3, and because Louisville had an injured player, Pooja and Elvira won their doubles by default.
Our #1-#4 spots all lost, and Pooja and I were the only ones left on the court by the end of the match.
We both played a pro-set since the match was already decided.
Mine was tight and every game was back and forth.
Finally I pulled it out, and it felt great to work so hard for something and to come out with the win.
I looked over at Pooja's court when she went on, and it seemed like only 10 minutes later she had come off again.
During my match I was thinking, "Did she just warm up and quit?
" However, I came to learn afterwards that she killed the girl, 8-0 and the match only took 22 minutes!
