Three months ago, Doug Paul didn't know what he wanted to do with his life.
The 17-year-old high school student had switched to Keith Lynn Alternative school because he wasn't gelling with his teachers at Carson Graham.
Skipping had become a regular occurrence.
Paul felt respected by his teachers at the alternative school, but it wasn't until he went to the Inuit village of Umiujaq in January with eight other students that his life took a decidedly different direction.
"It made me think about life and where I want to be in the future," he told The North Shore Outlook.
